On behalf of UGC (University Grants Commission), the CBSE (Central Board Of Education) conducts the NET (National Eligibility Test) to determine the eligibility of candidates for the post of lecturer and assistant professor in universities and colleges as well as JRF (Junior Research Fellowship).
In this time UGC NET will be held on 08-07-2018. The Central Board of Education has released the ADMIT CARD for the examination. Candidates can download the admit card from the website https://cbsenet.nic.in

The pattern of UGC NET
There are two papers in the UGC NET, PAPER- I and PAPER- II.
Paper-I shall consist of 50 objective type compulsory questions each carrying 2 marks. The questions which will be of general nature, intended to assess the teaching/research aptitude of the candidate. It will primarily be designed to test reasoning ability, comprehension, divergent thinking and general awareness of the candidate.
Paper-II shall consist of 100 objective type compulsory questions each carrying 2 marks which will be based on the subject selected by the candidate

- For paper (I)- 1 (one) hour
- For Paper (II)- 2 (two)hours
